CUET (UG) – Common University Entrance Test 2024
Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG) conducted in 13 mediums across India for admission into the undergraduate programs in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the Central Universities like Delhi University – DU, JNU, JMI, BHU, AMU, etc. in India.
Tests Design: There are three sections for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)
I. Section 1: It is written in two sections.
- Section 1A: 13 Languages (As a medium and Language)
- Section 1B: 20 Languages
- *Question from the Language Section will be from the following topics but are not limited to:
- Reading Comprehension – In this There will be three types of passages (Factual, Narrative, Literacy) approximately 300 to 350 words.
- Verbal Ability.
- Rearranging the parts.
- Choosing the correct word.
- Synonyms and Antonyms.

General Knowledge (GK), Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Math till 8th Grade), Logical & Analytical Reasoning.
*13 Languages: Out of 13 languages, NCERT Junction conducts classes for English & Hindi as a language only.
***27 Domain Subjects: We, NCERT JUNCTION conduct classes for given domain subjects:
- Humanities Domain Subjects: Political Science, History, Geography/Geology, Psychology, Sociology, Home Science.
- Commerce Domain Subjects: Economics/Business Economics, Business Studies-BST, Accountancy/Bookkeeping, Entrepreneurship.
- Science Domain Subjects: Physics Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology.
Level of Questions for CUET (UG): All questions in various testing areas will be benchmarked at the level of 12th only. Students having studies class 12th board syllabus would be able to do well in CUET (UG).
Choice of Languages & Domain Subjects: Generally, the languages/Subjects chosen should be the ones that a student opted in his class 12th Board Examinations. However, if any university permit any flexibility in this regard, the same can be exercised in the CUET – 2024 also.
